Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City is relocating to 1400KC, a building originally designed for Waddell & Reed Financial. This 18-story 260,000 sqft office tower will consolidate over 1,000 employees into one location, featuring 10 levels of parking for staff and visitors. Notably, 1400KC is set to be one of the most environmentally advanced buildings in Kansas City.

This environmental conscious project incorporated Vapor Lock 20/20 concrete admixture in the design. Our nanotechnology renders concrete impermeable to moisture and water vapor preventing concrete moisture related flooring and roofing failure. It also improves indoor air and environmental quality by eliminating a major source of building dampness.
