Vapor Lock™ Concrete Admixture

UNC Health – North Carolina Surgical Hospital

Vapor Lock 20/20 concrete admixture was utilized in the new UNC Health North Carolina Surgical Hospital to prevent construction schedule delays and moisture related flooring failure.

The surgical tower will be the largest building on UNC Hospitals Chapel Hill campus. The 26 surgical spaces will accommodate the equipment used in newly developed procedures. Four of those operating rooms are “hybrid spaces” that accommodate imaging technology and equipment for procedures that require imaging inside the operating room. This technology means traditionally invasive procedures can be less involved and more streamlined.
